AMCON’s “SMAL GIANTS” feature article was published on -“Forbes JAPAN” April Issue-
The cover of the April issue of “Forbes JAPAN” (published by Linkties, released on February 24, 2024) features Manabu Aizawa, our President and CEO. In this issue, there is a special feature on our company,  where we brought home the honorable grand prize as Japan’s proud “Small Giant” at the “Forbes JAPAN SMALL GIANTS AWARD 2023-2024” held in November 2023. Business Succession and Leadership Change

Our company underwent a business succession in October 2023, transitioning from the previous President and CEO, Shoichi Sasaki, to the new President and CEO, Manabu Aizawa. The award recognized not only the business and product characteristics of our company, which operates as a sludge dewatering equipment manufacturer, but also the attention garnered by this leadership change.

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency are sounding alarms regarding the “2025 problem”  which aims to raise awareness of the aging management sector and lack of successors in small and medium-sized enterprises and small businesses, thus various forms of business successions are currently being explored. The decision by Sasaki, who is still in his early fifties, to hand over the business to Aizawa, who  is in his early forties and  who has been with the  company for just seven years, is discussed at length along with the global strategy envisioned by the new president, Manabu Aizawa.

We are honored to announce that we have won the Grand Title of the “SMALL GIANTS AWARD 2023-2024” hosted by the Japanese edition of Forbes, a global financial magazine – Forbes JAPAN!

This was a business competition hosted by Forbes JAPAN which features small to midsized companies known as “SMALL GIANTS” scattered across Japan within their respective local communities; excavated to present to the world their true potential, and to decide once and for all, which “SMALL GIANT” is indeed the best! This year, our company was selected as one of the 7 finalists out of more than 100 candidate companies after a thorough preliminary screening process. Ultimately, we managed to score the Grand Title of this competition through the immaculate presentation conducted by our CEO and President Manabu Aizawa.

Our company was recognized for its innovative and distinct technology that sets us apart from other major Sludge Dewatering Press manufacturers, and the fact that our technology supports key sites throughout the globe. Not only were we recognized for the above, but we were also gifted with a beautiful gesture and words of hope, expectations, and encouragement by Forbes JAPAN to continue pursuing global successes with our new CEO and President Manabu Aizawa, who only recently assumed the crucial role this October.

We would not have been able to achieve such an honorable award without the support and patronage of all those who cherish and use our products and services. We sincerely appreciate your continued support.

We are pleased to announce that a case study “Ieshima Sewage Purification Center in Japan” has been added.
The customer had previously been processing their excess sludge by first mechanically thickening it and then dewatering it by using a belt-press as dewatering device.
Our VOLUTE™, on the other hand, is capable of dewatering sludge with the concentration as low as around 0.2% (TS).

We are pleased to announce that a case study “Semiconductor package manufacturing plant in Japan” has been added.
This plant was looking for a way to improve the working environment by removing the liquid from the dry film photoresist for ease of handling and a pilot test of TV-50F was conducting. Please click here for the details.
